We always enjoy going to Hopfenhäusla when we're in Münchberg. The food is delicious, the owner is very friendly, and the home-brewed beer 🍺 is absolutely scrumptious 😋

The changing menu, which is promoted via social media for the following week, is very diverse and doesn't seem to follow any clear structure (e.g., BBQ, traditional German cuisine, etc.), but that doesn't matter at all as long as it tastes good. The last few times I've been there, I've had shashlik or BBQ ribs cooked in suevid with coleslaw. My wife also enjoyed the pan-fried salmon on rice. The only downside was one time when the potato salad served with the schnitzel was very heavy on the mayonnaise and seemed to have come straight from a bucket. Since I also like the beer and I like to support small businesses, I'll definitely be back more often.

A thoroughly enjoyable visit, delicious draft beers and ribs for €11.50. The menu is quite small, but that's not necessarily a bad thing... The service was very attentive and the atmosphere was pleasant! Highly recommended!

We celebrated our wedding there in May with about 30 guests. The arrangements beforehand were very straightforward, the menu advice was excellent, and the food was outstanding! (The salmon and roulade were a huge hit!) The value for money was fantastic! They even have a sound system for your own playlist!

The seating is like a sports club, but there's also an outdoor seating area. Most importantly, the home-brewed beer tastes simply fantastic: the classic Helles and Bernstein are as balanced and drinkable as I've rarely had the pleasure of enjoying. The menu changes frequently; we had ribs and vegetable lasagna, and both were very well-made.
